Question: I am a real estate salesperson and showing buyers newly constructed homes in subdivisions. The builder will pay my commission or a referral fee. Do I need to provide my clients with an agency disclosure?

Answer: Yes. Prior to working with a buyer or showing property, you should ensure that your buyer receives an agency disclosure. If you fail to do so, you could risk your commission.
